PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leakage inspection device for inspecting leakage by easily and surely sealing the open face of a V-type cylinder block in a simple composition. SOLUTION: The leakage inspection device for inspecting the leakage of the cylinder block 1 having cylinder heads 11, 12 arranged on a bank, the open faces 11a, 12a, 13a, 14a on a groove part 14 between a crankcase part 13 and the both banks includes: the cylinder heads 11, 12; seal plates 21, 22, 23, 24 for sealing the open faces 11a, 12a, 13a, 14a on the groove part 14 between the crankcase part 13 and the bank respectively; and an inspection fluid supply means 25 for supplying an inspection fluid in a space of the cylinder block 1. The device includes a clamp mechanism 3 for fixing the seal plate 24 to the open face 14a of the groove part on the seal plate 21, 22 sealing the open faces 11a, 12a of the cylinder heads 11, 12.
