<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller capable of suitably suppressing generation of booming noise following driving of an engine in a vehicular drive device provided with the engine. <P>SOLUTION: When it is determined that avoidance of a booming noise generation area N is required based on the fact whether or not the booming noise is of a magnitude enough to raise a problem when it is compared with background noise by a booming noise generation area avoidance determination means 88, share of engine torque T<SB>E</SB>and assist torque T<SB>M2</SB>of a second electric motor M2 determined based on system efficiency is changed by a booming noise generation area avoidance means 86 and the muffled sound generation area N is avoided. Therefore, generation of the booming noise following driving of the engine can be suppressed, deterioration of the system efficiency is suppressed as compared with the case where the booming noise generation area N is uniformly avoided, and drivability and fuel consumption property are enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
