PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow stabilizer in which positions of holes are not shifted even when the through-holes are formed and bent in fitting parts. SOLUTION: Arm parts 2 are formed at both ends of the stabilizer and the fitting parts 5 are provided in tip parts of the arm parts 2. The fitting part 5 is compressed to have a flat shape, in the state where a columnar solid member 10 having outer diameter slightly smaller than the inner diameter of a hollow pipe raw material W of the arm part 2 is inserted into the fitting part 5. To satisfy the requirement for decrease in the size of the fitting part 5 and prevent the hole position from being shifted even when bending is applied, right and left spread parts 5A formed by compressing the fitting part 5 are cut in cut positions P capable of remaining annular pipe parts 12 of the pipe raw material W surrounding the solid member 10 at the tip portion of the fitting part 5.
