PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine reducing intake resistance. SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine comprises: a cylinder head 30 constituting an intake port 32; and a sleeve member 20 embedded in the cylinder head 30 and connected to an intake manifold 10. The sleeve member 20 is tubular, and is extended from the intake manifold 10 to at least an edge part 25 as a branched part of the intake port. The edge part 25 takes the form of an acute angle.
