The internal combustion motor air filter housing has an upper part with dividing walls forming three chambers. Dividing walls (30,32,34) in the lower section (10) also form three chambers (36,38,40). When assembled, the dividing walls meet to give enclosed chambers for a filter, air inflow and outflow. Passage openings in the dividing walls allow an air flow through the filter in the housing. Reinforcement ribs (48) form resonance chambers.
