PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer solving torque variation caused by dimension variation by temperature variation. SOLUTION: The retainer 3 sets a dimension (dimension at pocket outer diameter side) ES of a central radius (PCD/2) of a pocket P and a retainer outer diameter side (CED/2) at a range of 13%-17% in percentage of an outer diameter BD of a rolling body (ball). The dimension ES on the pocket outer diameter side is calculated, for example, as (retainer outer diameter CED-pocket central diameter PCD)/2. Further, a dimension (dimension at pocket inner diameter side) IS of a central radius (PCD/2) of the pocket P and a retainer inner diameter side (CID/2) is set at a range of 20%-30% in percentage of the outer diameter BD of the rolling body (ball).
