PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of synthesizing a compact ferric-arsenic compound being a scorodite type compound having a good crystallinity and from which arsenic is hardly eluded and the swelling due to moisture or the like is little by treating an arsenic-containing liquid by using an inexpensive oxidizing agent. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the ferric-arsenic compound, a precipitation reaction of the iron arsenide is advanced in the presence of a copper ion while agitating the liquid by adding an oxidative gas (for example, air) having an oxygen concentration of≥20 vol% as an oxidizing agent to an aqueous solution containing an arsenic ion and an iron ion and the precipitation is completed in a liquid pH range of≤1.2. At that time, a mol ratio of Fe/As is preferably set to 0.9-3 and an arsenic concentration is preferably set to≥20 g/L in the aqueous solution (reactant solution) before starting the precipitation reaction.
