A broadcasting receiving apparatus and method, and a computer-readable recording medium for storing a computer program controlling the apparatus are provided to generate detailed information data using additional information included into at least one image program, extract thumbnail data from the image program data, and store at least one of image program data, the detailed information data, and thumbnail data corresponding to each of an image program, detailed information, and thumbnail data in a mobile storage device interfacing with a PC, thereby reproducing a broadcasting image recorded in the broadcasting receiving apparatus in the other device. An operating method for a PC(Personal Computer) comprises the following steps of: searching for a desired storage device(700); checking whether data accessing is permitted between the storage device and the PC(702); reading image program data, detailed information data, or thumbnail data from a mobile storage device(704); converting the read data into data which can be recognized in the OS(Operating System) of the PC(706); generating an image program, detailed information, and thumbnail images(708); providing the image program and at least one of the detained information data and the thumbnail data to a user(710); re-processing at least one of the image program data, the detailed information data, and the thumbnail data if the user requests the re-processing of the data through a user interface(714); converting the re-processed data into data which can be recognized in a broadcasting receiver and storing the converted data in the mobile storage device(718,720).
