An RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) reader capable of mounting a mobile terminal is provided to mount the mobile terminal such as a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant), and offer a user an efficient structure, portability, and convenient operation. An RFID reader unit(40) forms a front surface of a reader main unit(10) and includes an RFID module which reads information stored in an RFID tag when the RFID tag is approached. A pocket unit(60) is coupled to an upper part of the reader main unit and includes a connector, which connects to the connector of a mobile terminal interacting with the RFID module, at one inner side. A grip unit(35) supports the read main unit by coupling with the reader main unit at a rear side of the RFID reader unit and includes a switching unit, which turns on/off operation of the RFID module selectively, at one side. A controller outputs the RFID tag information read by the RFID module to the mobile terminal based on the operation of the switching unit. The reader main unit includes an upper plate attaching the pocket unit and coupled with an upper end of the grip unit at one area, and a front plate(30) forming the front surface of the RFID reader unit. |
