The system has direct current photovoltaic solar generators (G1-Gn) connected to a common load (CL) e.g. charge capacitor, by continuous direct voltage intermediate converters (MPPT1- MPPTn) having a controllable transconductance. The generators are connected to a common input (EC) of a continuous direct voltage supplementary converter (MPPT-n+1) having another controllable transconductance. The supplementary converter has an output connected to the common load. A regulator (MPPT REG) regulates the two transconductances of the converters so as to maximize power generated by the generators.
