A system and a method for using SMS(Sudden Motion Sensor) data for touch type game input are provided to measure a user touch for controlling a touch type game with an SMS, which is used for parking a disk drive head to protect a hard disk from external shock by detecting a sudden motion. An SMS engine(200) reads data received from an SMS when percussion is applied to a device. The SMS is used for parking a disk drive head to protect a hard disk from external shock by detecting a sudden motion. A game(230) is connected/communicated with the SMS engine, determines whether or not read data exceeds a stimulus threshold, and controls play of the game in proportion to a value of the read data when the read data exceeds the stimulus threshold. |
