<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for interrupting processing when alteration and eavesdropping are detected by detecting where on a data path in an image forming apparatus image alteration and eavesdropping they are performed, with respect to the image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with: an input means for inputting an original and forming image data; a plurality of image processing means for sequentially performing image processing of the image data; and output means for outputting the image data in series, wherein the input means is provided with a combining means for combining the image data with additional data just after the input means, the plurality of image processing means are respectively provided with a detection means just before them and a combining means just after them, the output means is provided with a detection means just before it, and each detection means continues processing when all additional data combined by a combining means provided in a step previous to it are detected, and determines that the image data is unauthorized data when even one piece of additional data cannot be detected or when unexpected additional data is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
