The.invention' is for methods and the apparatus, used for transferring images onto the useful articles, such as a computer laptop cover. Methods of the invention include forming a mold of the article on a sheet of mesh or release agent, silk-screen layering of ink to colorize the design, then gluing the design to the useful article. In another embodiment the design sheet is made without a mold and affixed to the useful article by shrink wrapping it over the useful article in a vacuum chamber.
