<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inflater which provides stable output by preventing a gas generation agent molded body during combustion and in the unburned state from being generated. <P>SOLUTION: The inflater comprises: a pressurization gas chamber 20; a gas generation unit 30 including an igniter 34 and a gas generation agent 36; and a diffuser part 50 having a gas discharge hole 52, and a first communication passage 38 is closed by a first rupture plate 40. A cap 44 having a gas hole 42 exists in the pressurization gas chamber 20, and the minimum diameter of the gas hole 42 is equal or less to the minimum diameter of the gas generation agent 36. Even if the gas generation agent 36 during combustion flows into the cap 44, therefore, it is burned there, and only the gas flows out to the outside of the cap 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
