摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scintillator composition, which has excellent light beam output, relatively short decay time, and good energy resolution, can be easily converted into a single crystal substance or another transparent solid, can be generated efficiently with adequate cost in an acceptable crystalline dimension, and can be used in combination with various high-energy radiation detectors. SOLUTION: The scintillator composition contains a lutetium phosphate base material, a cerium activator ion for the base material, a praseodymium activator ion, and arbitrary reaction products thereof.
