METHOD FOR PRODUCING ECO-FRIENDLY ADHESIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive generating little volatile organic compounds and having excellent environmental suitability. SOLUTION: The method for producing the eco-friendly adhesive comprises the dissolution of at least a part of an acrylic monomer in an organic solvent containing ethyl acetate and the polymerization of the acrylic monomer in the presence of a polymerization initiator. Ethyl acetate having an aldehyde compound content of≤10 ppm and an alcohol content of≤100 ppm is used as the reaction solvent for the polymerization reaction. The polymerization initiator has a molecular weight of 200-250, a carbon number of the radical side chain of the initiator of 4-9 and a 10 hr half-life temperature of 45-55°C.
