PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device capable of realizing predetermined functions with a single semiconductor element. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device includes a nanotube having a structure in which two nanotubes 11, 12 each having the characteristics of an N-type semiconductor and adjacent to a first nanotube 13 having the characteristics of a P-type semiconductor; and conductors 14, 16 and 15, 17 opposite to one another with the first nanotube 13 sandwiched. Different voltages are applied to the conductors 14, 16 or different voltages are applied to the conductor 15, 17, so that a channel is formed on the first nanotube 13 to conduct the two second nanotubes 11 and 12.
