PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device advantageous for operating a valve element of closing a valve port for opening, even if the valve element is hardly operated for opening. SOLUTION: This valve device has a body 1 having the valve port 10, a valve stem 2 arranged so as to be capable of advancing and retreating in the axial length direction, the collar-shaped valve element 3 closing the valve port 10 by the advance of the valve stem 2 and opening the valve port 10 by the retreat of the valve stem 2, and a driving mechanism 5 retreating the valve stem 2 in the direction (the M2 direction) for opening the valve port 10 by the valve element 3 and advancing the valve stem 2 in the direction (the M1 direction) for closing the valve port 10 by the valve element 3. An action central point E1 of a valve opening force acting in the direction for opening the valve stem 2 when opening a valve is arranged in a position deviated to the center line P3 of the valve element 3 in the radial direction of the valve stem 2.
