A liquid crystal display apparatus is provided to improve black characteristic efficiency in driving a screen and a contrast ratio by forming preventing bend metal in a non-displaying area in the liquid crystal display. A liquid crystal display apparatus includes a liquid crystal panel(106), a plurality of light sources(100), a plurality of optical sheets(116), and a preventing bend metal. The liquid crystal panel has a upper substrate(106a) and a lower substrate(106b) and displays images. The plurality of light sources are arranged under the liquid crystal panel to emit the light. The plurality of the optical sheets are formed between the liquid crystal panel and the light source. The preventing bend metal is formed under the liquid crystal panel corresponding to non-displaying area of the under the liquid crystal panel. The preventing bend metal has a first preventing bend metal and a second preventing bend metal. |
