A hand-held variable weight exercise device comprises a cylindrical shaped container 10 and a plurality of solid weights 11 having a cross sectional shape of a circular sector. The cylindrical container 10 is open at one end and closed at the opposing end and is substantially hollow with partition means 13 forming discrete hole sections 12. Weights 11 fit into the hole sections 12 and a lid 14 secures the weights within the container. Gripping means 15 enable the device to be gripped firmly. The weights protrude slightly to allow them to be removed from the cylinder more easily. The total weight of the device can be adjusted by adding or removing weights from within the container. |
