An impact test device of an air bag in a vehicle is provided to enhance reliability of an air bag test by minimizing the difference between a vehicle model test and a vehicle collision test. An impact test device of an air bag in a vehicle includes a dummy support frame(5), an acceleration generator(1), and a motion conversion device. The dummy support frame mounts a dummy(6) which collides with the air bag inflated. The acceleration generator generates power according to acceleration of a driver's head according to time. The motion conversion device includes a movable rack rod(3) and a rotation pinion(4). The movable rack rod is moved along a rail(2) with the power from the acceleration generator. The rotation pinion performs angular motion of the dummy support frame while being rotated by a gear(4a) engaged with a gear(3a) of the movable rack rod.
