#CMT# #/CMT# The device (100) has a waveguide (113) to guide and orient a light produced by a polymerization light source (111) e.g. laser source, in a direction of a zone of a composite material to be photopolymerized. A measurement unit measures an intensity of the light reflected by the material, and is connected to an electronic control circuit. The unit has a light intensity sensor (117) with a prism (118) for directing rays of the reflected light to a photosensitive surface of the sensor. The circuit automatically controls power and lighting duration of the source based on intensity measurement. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Device for photopolymerization of a composite material such as filling material, rehabilitation material, impression material, sticking material or bleaching product, in dental field. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The measurement unit measures the intensity of the light reflected by the material, thus enabling the device to deduce the number of photons received by the material in a given wavelength, independent of application conditions of the light or variations in the transmission of the light, and hence ensuring better control of the light source by adjusting the power and the lighting duration of the source based on the intensity measurement.
