<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cheaply constitute a system only by changing and adding software, which can precisely detect the abnormal suction of a component sucked by a sucking nozzle of an electronic component mounting device. <P>SOLUTION: In the system, a component sucked by a sucking nozzle of an electronic component mounting device is photographed by a camera to determine by an image processing technology whether a component sucked posture is that of normal suction or of abnormal suction, wherein a lot of component image data of both the normal suction and the abnormal suction gathered in advance are learned as reference data beforehand in a neural network, and while the electronic component mounting device is in operation, component image data photographed by the camera are fed into the neural network, and based on an output value from the neural network, it is discriminated whether the component sucked posture is that of the normal suction or the abnormal suction.
