摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode member for a cold cathode fluorescent lamp, capable of being superior in sputtering-resistance property, discharge property, and manufacturing property, a method of manufacturing the electrode member, and the cold cathode fluorescent lamp. SOLUTION: The fluorescent lamp 1 includes a glass tube 20, and an electrode member 10 disposed in the tube 20. The electrode member 10 includes a bottomed cylindrical electrode main member 11, and a lead member 12 disposed at a sealed part of the glass tube 20. Both the members 11, 12 are formed in an integral manner. The electrode member 10 contains, one or more kinds of elements selected from the group of Ti, Hf, Zr, V, Nb, Mo, W, Sr, Ba, B, Th, Al, Y, Mg, In, Ca, Sc, Ga, Ge, Ag, Rh, Ta, and rare earths (except Y, Sc), by 0.01-5.0 mass% in total, and the remains are composed of Fe-Ni alloy and impurities. An alloy composing the electrode member 10 contains an Fe-Ni alloy in main proportions, so that the coefficient of thermal expansion is substantially near to that of glass to improve the plastic workability, and then the electrode member 10 contains special additive elements, thereby improving the sputtering-resistance property, and the discharge property.
