PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a methyl methacrylate based polymerizable dental material which completely or partially avoids the defect of the conventional technique or improves its properties and is suitable for use in manufacturing a prosthetic plastic.

SOLUTION: The dental material is obtained by adding an acrylated or methacrylated butadiene- and/or acrylonitrile-oligomer or polymer to a methyl methacrylate (MMA) based system as well, particularly as a liquid polymer (oligomer).
