PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which occurrence of display unevenness is prevented by preventing compression force from being applied to a specific place of a liquid crystal panel, even when the dimension of a member such as a frame is reduced due to lowering of temperature. SOLUTION: In the case in which a frame 12a is formed of a material with a thermal expansion coefficient larger than that of a chassis 11a, protruding guides 1141, 1142 to position and/or to hold the display panel 13 are formed on a side wall 112 of the chassis 11a, the guides 1141, 1142 are made to protrude further to the front side from the frame 12a mounted on the front side of the chassis 11a, and the display panel 13 to be arranged on the front side of the frame 12a is positioned and/or held with the guides 1141, 1142.
