PROTON CONDUCTOR AND FUEL CELL CONTAINING SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton conductor capable of dramatically improving proton conductivity, and provide a fuel cell containing the proton conductor.

SOLUTION: The proton conductor is formed by mixing nano oxide 2 in polyphosphoric acid 1. An average particle diameter of the nano oxide is preferably 5-100 nm, a volume fraction of the nano oxide is preferably 5-50%. The nano oxide is preferably formed of at least zirconium oxide and titanium oxide. The fuel cell contains the above proton conductor.
