<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus constituted so that an inter leaf whose size is different from the size of a sheet of transfer paper is inserted between the sheets of transfer paper as needed by a user. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a sheet size detecting means for detecting the size of the sheet; an interleaf size detecting means for detecting the size of the interleaf; selecting means (S14 and S15) for selecting whether the interleaf should be inserted when the size of the sheet detected by the sheet size detecting means is different from the size of the interleaf detected by the interleaf size detecting means (S13); and a control means (S16) for controlling to insert the interleaf between the sheets when the selecting means selects to insert the interleaf. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
