PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser device which does not generate a gap at a terminal peripheral part even when the temperature of the semiconductor laser device changes, and to provide a light source unit of an image forming device. SOLUTION: In the semiconductor laser device (1) provided with a stem (1a) on which a semiconductor laser element (1d) is loaded and a terminal (1b) supported by the stem, the root part of the terminal to the stem is sealed with an adhesive material (10).
