PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can effectively prevent the fraudulent action of inserting an implement for a fraudulent purpose from a token feeding port and malfunctioning a token detector and detect the fraudulent action even when power interruption is restored. SOLUTION: The game machine using game media such as tokens includes: a game medium detection means provided on a game medium sorting means; a path opening/closing means provided in the path of the game media between a feeding port and the game medium detection means; a means for controlling the path opening/closing means; a means for detecting the state of the path; a means for confirming the operation of the path opening/closing means; a means for controlling the path opening/closing means to be in a closed state when power is interrupted and then storing the detected result of the path state; and an abnormality reporting means for confirming the opening/closing operation of the path opening/closing means when the detected result of the stored path state when the power interruption is restored is not in the closed state and reporting abnormality in the case that the detected result of the path state is not the closed state.
