<p>A reaction plate which includes a reaction vessel and a reagent placed therein. This plate is free from troubles attributable to a sealing material for enclosing the reagent in the reaction vessel. After discarded, the reaction plate is prevented from causing contamination. The reaction plate (2) has, on the front side thereof, a reaction vessel (4) for causing a sample liquid to undergo a reaction. The plate has: a reagent (5) placed in a bottom part of the reaction vessel (4); and a thermally meltable material (6) which is solid at ordinary temperature and has been placed in a bottom-side part in the reaction vessel (4) in order to enclose the reagent (5). The thermally meltable material (6) comprises a mixture of a wax and a mineral oil in a proportion of from 18/80 to 63/30 in terms of percent by weight.</p>
