A damping force controlling valve of a shock absorber is provided to improve productivity by reducing assembly processes of a solenoid valve. A damping force controlling valve of a shock absorber comprises a variable valve(70) and a solenoid actuator(80). The variable valve is connected to the shock absorber and varies damping force. The solenoid actuator operates the variable valve. The variable valve is integrally coupled to the solenoid actuator by a connecting ring(90). The connecting ring has one opened part so that the solenoid actuator is attached inside the variable valve by elastic deformation and recovery.
