AIR CONDITIONER AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING AIRFLOW FOR THE SAME

An air conditioner and a method for controlling airflow of the same are provided to minimize the temperature inequality by forming an airflow control unit such as cameras for supplying airflow. An air conditioner comprises a main body(110), a user detecting unit(120) installed at the main body, and an airflow control unit. The airflow control unit supplies airflow to a space wherein the user exists by receiving the detecting information from the in-room detecting unit. The airflow control unit such as plural cameras also supplies the airflow by tracking a user. The cameras include a first camera(121), and a second camera(123) separated from the first camera with a predetermined interval and aligned with the first camera. The first camera and the second camera are symmetric with a center line of the main body.
