PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber product treating agent which can solve a problem that the water-absorbing property of a fiber product is deteriorated, when the fiber product is treated with a fiber product-treating agent containing a silicone compound as a main base agent, and can give excellent flexibility. SOLUTION: This fiber product treating agent comprises (a) a silicone compound and (b) a polymer comprising alkylene terephthalate units and/or alkylene isophthalate units and polyoxyalkylene units and having a weight-average mol. wt. of 1,000-100,000 in a prescribed mass ratio, and further comprises (c) one or more compounds selected from among a specific tertiary amine compound or its acid salt or its quaternized compound (c1) and a cationic water-soluble polymer (c2).
