PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for preparing a medicinal substance-polymer complex. SOLUTION: A medicine unstable in vivo is coordinatively bonded to a polymer carrier through metal ion but not chemical bond. A medicine having a chelating ability and a carrier including the medicine or diagnostic agents and a high molecular material having chelating ability are mixed together in the presence of metal ion thereby medicinal substance-high polymer complex having extremely marked expression of the drug action is obtained.
