<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of an AC generator for a vehicle, which reduces the aging test time of a CMOS logic circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The controller includes an excitation control circuit connected to a first external terminal for on-off controlling an excitation switch depending on a generator voltage; a specified signal detecting circuit connected to a third external terminal to detect a specified signal; a voltage selector circuit for generating a voltage selector signal upon receiving the detection output of the specified signal detecting circuit; and a power supply circuit connected to the first external terminal to output, as internal power supply voltage, first power supply voltage in a first state in which the specified signal is not input to the third external terminal and second power supply voltage higher than the first power supply voltage in a second state in which the specified signal is input to the third external terminal on the basis of the voltage selector signal. The excitation control circuit has an excitation switch-on rate deciding circuit configured using the CMOS logic circuit and on-off controlling the excitation circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
