PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-precision assembly method which does not depend on a difference in diameters of a pin and a hole and to provide a high-precision assembly apparatus which can reduce a cost. SOLUTION: The assembly method for assembling the respective parts by forming reference holes 521, 522 for positioning common to a pair of parts 511, 512 to be relatively positioned and positioning their relative positions by inserting reference pins 2a, 2b into the respective reference holes 521, 522 comprises the step of using a mount base 6 for placing the respective parts and an upper plate 1 having the reference pins 2a, 2b oppositely disposed to the mount base 6, the step of injecting a pressurized fluid toward the reference pins 2a, 2b through the reference holes 521, 522 of the parts 511, 512 placed on the mount base 6, and the step of positioning the centers of the reference holes 521, 522 to the axial centers of the reference pins 2a, 2b, respectively.
