<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device and an image display method that can display an image on an object display screen with a suitable grayscale number. <P>SOLUTION: The electrooptical apparatus includes pixel elements (GE) displaying pixels made to correspond to pixel data having a prescribed grayscale, pixel drivers (GD) made to correspond to the respective pixel elements (GE), and element processors (EP) made to correspond to the pixel drivers (GD), performing operations to correct pixel data supplied for pixel elements to different grayscale numbers by referring to error data for adjacent pixel elements (GE), and outputting error data generated in the operations for the adjacent pixel elements (GE). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
