PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a plurality of processes to efficiently and safely share a data file. SOLUTION: A first process is set so as to access only a hierarchy at a first directory or lower while a second process is set so as to access only a hierarchy at a second directory or lower. When an access to a third directory as a directory in the hierarchy at the first directory or lower is requested by the second process, the third directory is mounted in the hierarchy at a second directory or lower. When a time period consecutively without second process access to the third directory reaches a predetermined value, or upon receipt of a notification from the second process that access to the third directory is not needed, the third directory is unmounted.
