PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat apparatus having an adjusting mechanism for adjusting the attitude position of a seat back part which has a simple structure with a precision and strength. SOLUTION: The vehicle seat apparatus 1 has the seat back part 11 and an adjusting mechanism 12 which is linked to the seat back part 11 and moves the seat back part to adjust its attitude position. The adjusting mechanism 12 is provided with a turning shaft movable straight and a link which is linked to the turning shaft to be turned on the side opposite to the direction of its movement as the shaft moves so that the seat back part 11 is moved to change its attitude position.
