PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission operating device capable of suppressing operation noise generated during operation of a shift lock mechanism. SOLUTION: In the automatic transmission operating device having the shift lock mechanism, the lock mechanism has a solenoid 15, a lock means 18, and an operation member 16, the operation member 16 including at least two arm parts 16a and 16b, with one arm part being connected with an operation part of the solenoid 15 and the other arm part being connected with the lock means 18. A cushioning member 16ca is provided at the tip of the one arm part, and a wall surface 4d to abut on the cushioning member 16ca at the rotating end of the one arm part is formed on the outer surface of a bracket 4. The cushioning member 16ca has an acute angle part P protruding toward the radial direction, and the acute angle part P abuts on the wall surface 4d at the rotating end of the one arm part.
