PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for a rice scoop, which can be attached to either right or left side, of a rice cooker and by which the lid is opened/closed with one hand holding the rice scoop. SOLUTION: In the container with a roughly rectangular opening, there are provided a revolving shaft orthogonal to a longer side of the opening, a lid having a slit for sticking out a handle of a rice scoop, and a plate facing downward at the end opposite from the slit.
