PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide noise-canceling headphones, wherein a frequency band for cancel noise can optionally be set and varied, a cancel effect amount can optionally be set and varied, and a noise level for cancellation can optionally be set and varied. SOLUTION: The noise cancel headphones have a microphone 10 for picking up environmental noise, a cancel signal generator which generates a cancel signal opposite in phase to the environmental noise detected by the microphone 10, and a mixer which mixes the generated cancel signal with a musical sound signal, and a speaker 30 is driven with the mixture signal. Further, the noise cancel headphones have a frequency band change switch SW1 with which the cancel frequency band can be set and varied, a cancel noise level change switch SW2 with which the output sound volume level of the cancel signal can be set and varied, and a cancel noise level change switch SW3 with which the level of noise to be canceled can be set and varied.
