<p>The saw bench has a rotatably driven saw blade (14) provided with a gear ring (18) that is supported below a workbench (10). A splitting wedge (22) is arranged on the workbench, and a protective housing (26) for partial covering of a processing section (20) of the saw blade is supported at the splitting wedge, where the housing is pivotable around a pivot axis (28). An area of a free end (30) of the saw blade engages in a corresponding recess in the workbench in a resting position.</p> |
