POLYMER PARTICLES HAVING POLYMER BRUSH AND PREPARING METHOD THEREOF

A polymer microparticle, and a method for preparing the polymer microparticle are provided to optimize impact strength and to improve elastic recovery. A polymer microparticle is provided with a brush formed by graft polymerizing a conjugated diene-based monomer on the surface of a monodisperse polymer particle. Preferably the monodisperse polymer has an average diameter of 1-15 micrometers and a degree of particle size distribution less than 1.5 and is formed by polymerizing 50-100 wt% of a styrene-based monomer and 0-50 wt% of a comonomer; and the conjugated diene-based monomer is at least one selected from the group consisting of 1,3-butadiene, 2,3-dimethyl-1,3-butadiene, piperylene, 3-butyl-1,3-octadiene, isoprene and 2-phenyl-1,3-butadiene.
