<p>The hydrodynamic torque converter has a converter housing (12) with an impeller (38), a turbine wheel (28) arranged in an inner chamber (24) and a locking clutch arrangement (50) with a friction surface formation (52) connected to the housing in torque proof manner. Another friction surface formation (54) is connected to the turbine wheel, where the inner chamber is divided into two chamber areas (68,70). A fluid flow opening arrangement, connecting the two chamber areas, is provided in the piston element in the radial area of the friction surface formations.</p> |
