A structure for preventing a loss of a battery cover of a mobile electronic device is provided to avoid a situation that its battery cover is released from the mobile electronic device to a position which can be hardly recognized by a user if a mobile electronic device is inadvertently dropped. A main body includes a battery receiving part(30). A battery cover(20) covers the battery receiving part and is detachably attached to the battery receiving part. A loss preventing member(40) is connected with the main body and the battery receiving part cover to thus prevent a loss of the battery cover. The loss preventing member includes a hanging member(41) hung on the body of a user. The main body is a main body of an MP3 player which performs a function of reproducing an audio compression file.
