Method for measurement of strength of keeping abrasive grain in link of abrasive instrument prescribes loading in turn abrasive grain, this is performed with dynamical force with frequency that corresponds to frequency of loading of abrasive grain at polishing. At that loading of grain and displacement of working element with respect to surface of sample are performed at angle of effect of resulting force of resistance to cutting of abrasive grain at polishing. One determines number of cycles of loading till detachment of abrasive grain from link and depth of its fixation, with calculation of strength of fixation of each abrasive grain, one plots fatigue curve by which one determines limit of durability of material of link that corresponds to strength of keeping abrasive grain.
