A terminal for providing a call and message service and a method for managing call information and a message in a terminal are provided to allow a user to manage messages and call particulars easily as personal information. A phone book memory(210) stores personal information of an individual and related messages. A phone book controller(222) stores reception messages or origination messages as related messages according to individuals stored in the phone book memory. If at least one related message is stored in the phone book memory, the phone book controller allocates a region for storing the message. A display unit(230) displays the personal information of the individual stored in the phone book memory and related messages. The phone book controller displays the personal information of each individual stored in the phone book memory and related messages in response to a request of a user.
