摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the intensity of a light source in response to digital demands regardless of intensity and command resolutions in a state where an observer is unable to notice flickering of the light source. SOLUTION: Changing light source intensity is disclosed. A command intensity is received for the light source, wherein the light source has a current intensity, and wherein a starting intensity is equal to the current intensity when the command is received. Sequences of at least three steps in intensity for the light source are determined, wherein each step of the sequences is used to change the light source intensity from the starting intensity toward the command intensity, and wherein each of the at least three steps of the sequence progressively becomes smaller. A light source intensity change is caused, wherein the sequences of the at least three steps in intensity for the light source are respectively added in turn to the current intensity with a time interval occurring between each of the at least three steps of the sequence.
